MILTON, NY – Members of the Wilkes University men's cross country team competed at the 2019 Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Cross Country Championship Saturday at the Hudson Valley Sports Dome hosted by Mount Saint Mary College (NY), placing 15th of 18 teams.

Kaleb Hanson Richart (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) was the top finisher for the Colonels in 62nd place out of 117 runners. He finished with a time of 32:05.7 on the 8k course. Brandon Whitman (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) placed 64th with a time of 32:12.6. Christopher Lombardo (Matawan, NJ/Matawan Regional) finished in 34:02.9 for 89th place. Owen Ebersole (King of Prussia, PA/Upper Merion Area) finished 90th with a 34:17.0. Liam Flynn (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) rounded out the scoring Colonels in 100th place with a time of 35:34.7. Wilkes scored 393 team points. Dylan Corriere (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) also finished for the Colonels in 107th and a time of 36:51.3.

St. Joseph's – Long Island was the team champion at the event.

The Colonels return to the course to compete at the NCAA Mideast Regional next Saturday with the race starting at 11:00 a.m. in Bethlehem, Pa. hosted by Lehigh University.
