Wilkes Men's Cross Country Sets Personal Bests at LVC Last Chance Run
LEBANON, PA – All three of the Wilkes University men's cross country runners recorded 8k personal records on Friday evening at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast at Union Canal Tunnel Park.

Richard Stafford (Blue Point, NY/Bayport-Blue Point) placed 43rd overall with a personal record 30:34.2. Junior
Brandon Whitman (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) also recorded a personal record with a time of 31:00.4 to place 50th. Junior
Kaleb Hanson-Richart (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) set a season-best time of 31:47.9 to place 57th.
There were 85 total runners on the course with Scott McGeary taking the top place overall with a time of 27:17.7. DeSales won the team title with 45 points across its five runners. Wilkes was ineligible for a team result with only three participants.
Wilkes returns to the course next week on Saturday, October 30 for the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships in Center Valley, Pa. hosted by DeSales at 12:00 p.m.
