BROCKPORT, NY – Wilkes University field hockey senior Morghan Murphy (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) was selected Second Team All-Region by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) as released by the organization on Monday.

Murphy was a 2021 NFHCA Division III Region IV selection as a forward on the second team.

Also following the season, Murphy was named a First Team All-Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom forward. Murphy was third in the conference with an average of 3.88 shots per game and 1.94 shots on goal per game.  She also finished seventh in the MAC Freedom and led the Colonels with nine goals on the season, including a pair of game-winners.  She led Wilkes with 20 points which was good for seventh in the conference.
