Wilkes Women's Tennis Unable to Pass Semi-Finals in 2022 MAC Individual Championship
EDWARDSVILLE – Wilkes University women's tennis had three individual players and one doubles team compete Sunday, but were unable to get pass the semi-finals in the 2022 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Individual Championship at the Kirby Park and Ralston Athletic Complex courts.

Tea Amerise (Mountain Top, PA/Holy Redeemer) was the third seed in the No. 2 singles bracket heading into her semifinal match, where the sophomore fell to second seed and eventual champion Stephanie Untermeyer of Stevens Institute of Technology 6-3, 6-1.
Cassidy Greenman (Glen Gardner, NJ/Voorhees), the top seed in the No. 3 singles, was upset by No. 4 Livia Jackson of Lebanon Valley 6-1, 0-6, 10-2.
Sydney Farmer (Lacey Township, NJ/Lacey Township), the fourth seed in the No. 6 singles bracket, was unable to pass No. 1 seed Madison Poladian of Lebanon Valley 6-1, 6-4.
Amerise and Kaitlyn O'Neil (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) came into the double's tournament as the fourth seed in the No. 2 bracket. They would fall to top seeded and eventual champs Lydia Barbour and Hailey Loughlin of Misericordia University 8-2.
Wilkes women's tennis returns to action on Saturday as they host Gettysburg College at 1:00 p.m. in non-conference action at Ralston Athletic Complex courts.
