The Colonels first match began with Ferrum. Fashouer got a takedown in the first, but Samano escaped and got his own takedown, earning four points for a near fall to be up 7-2 after the first period. The second saw Fashouer comeback as he escaped from the down position and took down Samano four times, earning nine points and heading to the third period with a 11-10 lead. Samano got out of the bottom spot to start off, but Fashouer took him down at the 5:17 mark and held that spot to the end of the period and a 13-11 victory.
Michael Richardson (Brick, NJ/Brick Memorial) earned a forfeit victory to give the Colonels six points at 133 while Jack Bauer (Ringoes, NJ/Hunterdon Central), who is regionally ranked sixth at 141, came back and defeated Jonathan Ward in a 7-5 decision to get Wilkes a 12-0 lead over Ferrum. After a scoreless first period, Ward escaped the bottom spot and took down Bauer at the 3:57 mark, earning a two point near-fall. Bauer responded with an escape in the beginning followed by a takedown at the 5:30 mark, and back-to-back two-point near-falls to earn the 7-5 win.
Hayden Funck got the Panthers points as he won a 12-0 major decision over Braden Sitton (Cross Junction, VA/James Wood) at 149. Cody Dix (Egg Harbor, NJ/Egg Harbor Township) responded with a fall at :43 against Perry Roller to push the Colonels up 15-4. Ferrum got the technical fall win at 165 to earn them five points and cut the lead, Christopher Nuss (Gore, VA/James Wood) matched that with his own technical fall victory over Michael Oliver 20-3. Caleb Burkhart (Hughesville, PA/Hughesville), who won MAC Wrestler of the Week last week, scored a pinfall victory at the 2:20 mark to earn six points for the Colonels and the victory. Felice would escape, but Everdale would get another takedown and finish the first period 8-1. Cameron Butka (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) and Burkhart would respond with two pinfall wins of their own to give Wilkes 12 points and a 30-20 victory over Oswego State. Butka would score his fall in the 197 division at the 4:58 mark against Anthony Cascen. Cascen would get the takedown, but Butka would get out quickly and score his own at the 1:58 mark and hold that spot to the end of the first period. The second saw Butka escape from the bottom spot and get a takedown at the 4:15 mark, eventually getting the pin with two seconds left in the second period.
Burkhart would earn his fall against Evan Cataldo at the 1:32 in the 285-weight class. Burkhart got a takedown five seconds into the first period. Cataldo would escape, but Burkhart would get him once again, earning four points for a near-fall at the 1:19 mark before getting the pin and win for himself and the Colonels.
After the tournament was over, Fashouer and Burkhart were both honored with being on the All-Tournament Team in their respective weight classes. All-Tournament Team honors are awarded after the tournament at each weight to the undefeated wrestler that earned the most team points per match, not including wins by default, injury default or disqualification. The Most Outstanding Wrestler is awarded to the wrestler that earned the most points per match on the championship team in the tournament.
