LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Wilkes University men's and women's cross country teams saw four runners compete at the 2024 Mid-Atlantic Regional Championship hosted by Lock Haven University at West Branch Cross Country Course on Saturday afternoon.
 
Three Colonel men runners compete in the 8k race. Jack Thompson (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) closed out his impressive first year campaign finishing 45^th overall with a time of 25:51, breaking his own school record and setting a personal best in the process. Aidan Graff (Scranton, PA/Scranton) set the second-best record in the 8k in school history and also set a personal best time of 25:58 for 49^th overall. Caleb Edwards (Grahamsville, NY/Tri-Valley Central) rounded out the Wilkes competitors finishing 90^th overall with a time of 26:38, also setting a personal best mark.
 
Ava Bailor (York, PA/Red Lion) was the lone woman competing for Wilkes in the 6k race finishing 121^st overall with a time of 25:00.
