CARLISLE, Pa. – The Wilkes men's and women's cross country team sent five runners to Dickinson College where they competed at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals Saturday afternoon.

Senior Caleb Edwards (Grahamsville, NY/Tri-Valley Central) and sophomore Jack Thompson (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) ran for the men's team where they finished the 8k with times of 27:32.27 and 27:33.16 respectively. Edwards finished just before Thompson in 76th place in a race that featured 219 runners from 36 different institutions.

The women's team saw three runners compete in the 6k, sophomores Ava Bailor (Brogue, PA/Red Lion) and Julia Lewis (Hanover Township, PA/Wyoming Seminary), and first-year Annabeth Glass (Douglassville, PA/Daniel Boone Area). Bailor crossed the line first for Wilkes with a final time of 25:41.56 to place her 123rd. Glass followed her in with a time of 29:14.32 to put her 179th, and Lewis rounded out the Colonel runners finishing 181 with a time of 29:24.13.
