The Colonels got here by defeating the fourth-seeded Drew 2-1 on the road last Saturday. Wilkes fell behind 1-0 at halftime, but rallied in the second half thanks to an aggressive offense that outshot Drew 13-3 over the final 30 minutes. Olivia Gayoski (Forty Fort, PA/Wyoming Valley West) tied the game with her third goal of the season early in the third, and Lydia Keppel (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) put the Colonels in front with her game-winning goal late in the fourth to complete the comeback. The defense also stepped up as the Rangers went 0-5 on penalty corners in the second half, and didn't attempt a shot in the entire fourth quarter.

The Royals earned the first seed with a perfect 9-0 record in conference play and a 15-3 record overall. They enter this semifinals matchup on a nine-game winning streak with their last loss coming against No. 22 Ithaca College on Sept. 23. Scranton and Wilkes both met in the regular season on Oct. 22 at Schmidt Stadium with the Royals winning 2-0.

Scranton boasts three players with over 25 points in the regular season, Annie Shaw, Maggie Keys, and Shana Goldsmith. Shaw led the team with 38 points on 17 goals and four assists, but Keys isn't too far behind with 32 points on eight goals and a team-leading 16 assists. Lastly, Goldsmith tallied 26 points on 11 goals and four assists.

On defense, the Royals rank as the Landmark's best with 1.06 goals allowed per game and a lot of it is due to goalkeeper MacLean Thuermer. The senior enters this game with a 0.56 goals against average, an .843 save percentage, and a 12-2 record in the 14 games she's started. Scranton as a whole has allowed just four goals against conference opponents all season.

The winner of this game will move on to the championship game of the Landmark Conference Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 8 against the winner of the game between No. 2 Susquehanna and No. 3 Elizabethtown.
