TOWSON, Md. – Wilkes men's basketball forward Lucas Lesko (Northampton, PA/Northampton) was selected as the Landmark Conference men's basketball Player of the Week this week, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

This completes a hat-trick of Player of the Week awards for Lesko this season, and the third for the team this season as well.

Lesko helped the Colonels clinch a spot in the Landmark Conference playoffs with two massive wins, shooting 19-30 from the field for 48 points with 16 rebounds.

On Wednesday, Lesko was one rebound shy of a double-double in the team's 71-58 win over the University of Scranton, scoring 22 points with nine rebounds while shooting 9-16 from the field.

Then on Saturday at Susquehanna University, Lesko scored 26 points on 10-14 shooting with seven rebounds in the team's 87-81 win over the River Hawks.

Lesko and the Colonels take the court again this Wednesday as they host Landmark leaders Drew University at the Marts Center. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
