Four from Wilkes Softball Selected to 2025 All-Landmark Team

TOWSON, Md. – Four student-athletes from the Wilkes University softball team have been selected to the 2025 All-Landmark Softball Team, as announced by the conference office this afternoon.

Mia Butka (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), Lauren DeMarco (Merrick, NY/Sanford H. Calhoun) and Olivia Dougher (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) returned after being selected last year, with Hannah Boyd (Escalon, CA/Escalon) completing the quartet with her first career All-Landmark selection.

Butka was named All-Landmark First Team as a utility player, improving upon her Second Team selection in her first year. Butka led the Colonels in the regular season with a .366 batting average, 34 hits, and four home runs, all career-highs. Butka's 11 doubles put her tied for fourth in the Landmark, while her 1.040 OPS and .634 slugging percentage were both also top five marks in the conference. In the circle, Butka finished her sophomore campaign with six wins and a 2.66 ERA, a top ten mark in the Landmark Conference, with 38 strikeouts.

DeMarco was named to the All-Landmark Second Team for her work in the circle, leading the Wilkes pitching staff with eight wins, four shutouts, and a 1.48 ERA, the second-best figure in the conference. Her 63 strikeouts led the team and put her fourth in the conference, even picking up a save against King's College.

Dougher was named an All-Landmark Honorable Mention at third base, setting new career highs in doubles (10) and slugging percentage (.467). Dougher was second on the team in OPS (.818), hits (29), and extra base hits (11).

Boyd was also named All-Landmark Honorable Mention at first base, leading the team with an on-base percentage of .409. Her discipline at the plate drew a team-high 16 walks, tied for the fifth-most in the Landmark. Her .734 OPS ranked third on the team among regular hitters. Defensively, Boyd set new career highs in fielding percentage (.968) and put outs (203). Boyd's 203 put outs sit her fourth in the Landmark.
