GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Wilkes University baseball team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) for its efforts in the classroom with the 2024-25 Team Academic Excellence Award presented by Sports Attack, as announced by the organization Wednesday.

This marks the second consecutive year that the team has earned the award, and the third time overall since the award's inception in 2015-16.

More than 440 collegiate programs from all levels and 300 high school programs were recognized, which highlights ABCA member teams that achieved a team GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale in the 2024-25 academic year.
