WILKES-BARRE – A total of 112 Wilkes University student-athletes were named to the first-ever Eastern Athletic Communications Association (East-COMM) Academic Honor Roll as released by the association.
 
There was a total of 6,660 student-athletes from EAST-COMM member schools between the fall, winter, and spring academic honor rolls. Student-athletes from 33 different institutions were recognized. Student-athletes on the list needed to have at least sophomore eligibility and a 3.4 cumulative GPA to be nominated with their school being members of EAST-COMM.
 
Wilkes had 47 honorees from the fall sports, 40 from the winter sports, and 25 from the spring sports.
