WILKES-BARRE – Wilkes University baseball pitcher AJ Levandoski (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) has been named to the D3baseball.com Preseason All-America Third Team, as announced by the organization Friday morning.

Levandoski dazzled in his first year, earning recognition on the All-Region V First Team from both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) as well as the Landmark Pitcher of the Year award and a first-team All-Landmark selection.

Levandoski led the conference with eight wins and finished second with 60 strikeouts. He led the Landmark in strikeouts looking, freezing batters 25 times, with an ERA of 3.16 good for the third-best mark in the conference. Opposing hitters had a batting average of .224 against the Scranton native, the third-best mark in the Landmark as well.

The D3baseball.com Preseason All-America team is chosen from previous years' All-American and All-Region nominations.
