WILKES-BARRE, Pa. – The Wilkes University women's lacrosse team released the 2027 schedule as a part of a series of schedule releases for all 2027 spring teams. 

The Colonels will play in 17 games during the regular season, including nine home games at Schmidt Stadium. Head coach Taylor Drumheller enters her second season after a powerful 2026 season.

Wilkes opens the season on the road at Gwynedd Mercy University on Tuesday, February 16 at 4 p.m. Afterwards, the Colonels will play in their home opener against Marywood University on February 24. Wilkes will play in back-to-back home games as they play on February 27 against Immaculata University, and then will be on the road to Eastern University on March 3.

The Colonels return home for a matchup against Keuka College on March 6, and then are back on the road again to Bryn Mawr College on March 13. Before their first Landmark Conference game, Wilkes will play at home against Plattsburgh State on March 16. 

Landmark Conference play begins on Saturday, March 20 as the Colonels will take on Moravian University in an away game. Their next game is against cross-town rivals King's College (Pa.) for a home game under the lights on March 23. 

Wilkes' first conference game at home will be on March 26 against Goucher College. The Colonels have two back-to-back Landmark Conference games against Drew University on March 31 and Elizabethtown College on April 3. 

In their last five games of the season, the Colonels will host three at Schmidt Stadium. The first two games will be against Susquehanna University on April 7 and then the Colonels will travel to Catholic University of America on April 10. Wilkes will host the University of Scranton and Juniata College on April 14 and April 17 respectively. Their final regular season game will be away at Lycoming College on April 21.
