Wilkes Women's Tennis Chosen Seventh in Landmark Coaches' Preseason Poll
 
TOWSON, Md. – The Wilkes women's tennis team was chosen seventh in the Landmark Coaches' Preseason Poll, as announced by the Conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Wilkes concluded its 2024-2025 seventh in the conference with an 8-9 overall record and 3-6 in conference action. The Colonels are headed by second year head coach Scott Veith, and are set to start their 2025-2026 campaign on Saturday, March 1. 

Moravian University, last year's runner-up, was chosen as conference favorites receiving 75 points (four first-place votes), while Scranton was picked for second with 72 points (three first-place votes). Catholic University rounds out the top three positions with 67 points and three first-place votes. 

Drew University claimed fourth-place with 54 points, followed closely behind by Goucher who received 52 points. Juniata finished sixth with 39 points, while the Colonels tallied 38 points to finish seventh.

Susquehanna finished in eighth-place with 26 points, while Elizabethtown and Lycoming rounded out the poll with 18 points and nine points respectively. 

Wilkes begins conference action on Saturday, Mar. 21 where the Colonels face Catholic University at 3:30 p.m.
