ITHACA, N.Y. – The Wilkes University women's wrestling team compete in a Round Robin of individual matches hosted by Ithaca College which also included Nassau Community College Friday night.
 
The matches mark the last tune up for the Colonels before the NCAA Regionals hosted by Elmira College on February 21 and February 22.
 
Gabriela Vasquez (San Antonio, TX/Conerstone Christian Schools) earned a technical fall 10-0 in 47 seconds over Faith Juwana of Nassau CC at 103-pounds. Grace Riley (Wood Ridge, NJ/Paramus Catholic) also claimed a technical fall at 117-pounds over Arianne Leo of Ithaca in 4:38.
 
At 138/145-pounds Milly Hughes (Jefferson, GA/Jefferson) was a two-time winner both coming on falls over Giselle Bonilla of Nassau CC and Melina Gerogas of Ithaca in 29 seconds and 59 seconds respectively.
 
Angel Upright (Hanover, PA/Southwestern) was the final Colonels winner in the round robin style event earning a fall in 42 seconds over Bonilla in 42 seconds.
