WILKES-BARRE – Standout first year Ana Savkovic (Belgrade, Serbia/The Hoosac School) of the Wilkes University women's tennis team has been ranked regionally for the first time by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), coming in at 18^th in the Atlantic South region as announced by the organization on Wednesday afternoon.

In addition to this, Savkovic remains sixth in the NCAA Division III Regional Rankings, her third week ranked by the organization.

Savkovic went undefeated in singles action in her maiden campaign, finishing the year 19-0 after defeating Riley Roesel of Drew University in the Landmark Championship First Round (6-0, 6-0).

The Belgrade, Serbia native did not drop a single set in conference play and became the eighth woman in program history to post a flawless winning percentage in a single season (minimum 12 matches).
