Wilkes Baseball Earns Four All-Landmark Conference Selections

TOWSON, Md. - The Wilkes University baseball team saw four players named to the 2026 All-Landmark Conference Baseball team, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.

Starting pitcher AJ Levandoski (Scranton, PA/West Scranton), second baseman Jack Mathis (Exeter PA/Wyoming Area), and outfielder Andres Cruz (Wayne, PA/Radnor) were all named to the second team, while utility player Mike Show (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) was named an honorable mention.

Levandoski's second team selection is the second All-Landmark nod of his career after being named Pitcher of the Year and earning first team honors as a first year. He followed up his brilliant first season in the Colonel program with another strong season in year two. In nine starts and 11 appearances overall, he finished with a 4-2 record, a 4.73 ERA, and 53 strikeouts in 51.1 innings pitched. He finished second in the Landmark in strikeouts and sixth in opponent batting average (.259).

Mathis also earned the second All-Landmark selection of his career with his second team selection after being named an honorable mention last season. In his junior campaign, he led the Colonels in batting average (.365), on-base percentage (1.001), hits (50), triples (6), total bases (73), and stolen bases (34). He was also second on the team in slugging percentage (.533) and walks (22).

Cruz's breakout sophomore season gave him his first All-Landmark selection of his career. He finished the year with 45 hits, six home runs, 39 RBIs, a .313 batting average, an .844 on-base percentage, and a .479 slugging percentage. He led the Colonels in both home runs and RBIs, and was top four on the team in the other stat categories listed above.

Lastly, Mike Show (Clarks Summit, PA/Abington Heights) finished his Wilkes career with a third all-conference selection. He was named an All-Landmark honorable mention as a utility player this season, named to the All-Landmark Second Team in 2024 as a utility player, and named Second Team All-MAC Freedom in 2023 as a relief pitcher.

On the mound, Show made seven starts and 10 appearances overall to the tune of a 1-2 record, 6.26 ERA, 27.1 innings pitched, and 33 strikeouts. At the plate, he finished with a .263 batting average, a .699 on-base percentage, and a .316 slugging percentage in 38 at-bats this season.
