WILKES-BARRE – Three student-athletes from the Wilkes University women's tennis team have been named to the 2025-26 Women's Academic All-District® Tennis Team by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), as announced by the organization Tuesday afternoon.

Kensington Edmond (Mount Joy, PA/Donegal), Isabel Schreffler (Downingtown, PA/Downingtown West), and Julia Spaeth (Hamburg, NY/Hamburg Area) represented the Colonels on the Academic All-District® team.

To be chosen to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Team, a student-athlete had to have been at least a sophomore academically and athletically, have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale), and have competed in 70% of matches that include team scores.

This is Edmond's second Academic All-District® award, earning a 3.94 GPA competing in all 19 team-scoring events this season. Both Schreffler and Spaeth have earned this award for the first time, earning 3.55 and 3.61 GPAs respectively. Schreffler, an environmental engineering major, competed in 17 team scoring events, while Spaeth, a finance major, competed in 18.
