WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University athletic department has announced the 2026 schedule for the men's and women's cross country teams.

Both teams open the season with a pair of trips to Misericordia University, starting on Tuesday, September 1 at the Misericordia Invitational, with the women's race at 6:00 p.m. and the men's race at 6:45 p.m. The second trip to Dallas takes place on Saturday, September 12 for the Cougar Classic, with the women's race starting at 10:15 a.m. and the men's race at 11:00 a.m.

The Colonels then take two weeks off before traveling to Lock Haven for the Lock Haven University Open on Sept. 26 at 10:00 a.m. Both teams close out the regular season in Philadelphia for the Jack St. Clair Memorial on Oct. 10. The women's and men's races will begin at 12:15 and 1:10 p.m respectively.

Both teams will compete in the Landmark Conference Championship at Susquehanna University on Saturday, Oct. 31. The men's race goes off first at 11:00 a.m., followed by the women's race at 12:00 p.m.

Both teams will conclude the 2026 season at the Mid-Atlantic Regional on Saturday. November 14 (time and location TBD).
