Wilkes continued its hot start pushing its record to 6-0 on the year, the best start in the program's history. Maritime dropped to 1-3 on the season following the defeat. The Wilkes offense continued to find success at a high rate as the Lady Colonels reached 19 goals for the third time this season. Wilkes jumped out to a 16-2 lead in the first and never looked back outscoring Maritime 3-1 in the second half. Ford scored two of her four goals to start the game and Madeleine Brownsey (Glenside, PA/St. Basil Academy) added two more strikes as Wilkes led 6-0 after 11 minutes of play. After a Maritime goal, Wilkes went on another 4-0 run as Tori Kerr (Beacon, NY/Beacon), Carley Smith (York, PA/Dallastown) and Ford (twice) all found the back of the net over the four minute span to lead 10-1. After another Maritime tally, the Lady Colonels finished the half scoring six unanswered as Kerr (twice), Smith (twice), Brownsey and Sara Gilbert (Phoenixville, PA/Phoenixville) all netted goals before the halftime buzzer sounded. Katherine Marcoux (Bow, NH/Bow), Ally Bicskei (Vernon, NJ/Vernon Township) and Meaghan Skelly (Yorktown Heights, NY/Yorktown) scored the three second half goals for Wilkes. Smith and Kerr joined Ford to lead the offense each tallying four goals. Kerr added two assists while Smith contributed one helper. Brownsey finished with three goals and one assist. Morgan Galluzzo (New London, NH/Kearsarge Regional) started and earned the win in net for Wilkes making two saves in the contest. Gabby Zawacki (Old Forge, PA/Holy Cross) entered in the second half playing just over twenty minutes recording one save. Wilkes outshot Maritime 35-7 while holding a 24-14 lead in ground balls.
