Men's Cross Country Finishes First at Alvernia Invitational
LEESPORT, Pa. – Sophomore
Jordan Lindley (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) finished with the top overall time to lead the Wilkes University men's cross country team to its best finish since 2010, as the Colonels took First Place at the Alvernia Invitational on Saturday morning.
Lindley ran a 28:47, tying the 10
th-best finish in school history. Lindley was joined in the top-5 by senior
Tyler Sutton (Wyalusing, PA/Wyalusing Valley) (29:37), who finished third, and freshman
Harrison Ferro (Berwick, PA/Berwick) (29:45), who finished fifth.

Wilkes will next compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships at Midericordia on Saturday, October 31st.
