DALLAS, Pa.- Jordan Lindley (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) ran the fastest 8k time in school history to help lead the Wilkes University men's cross country team to an eighth-place finish at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Misericordia on Saturday afternoon.

Lindley finished in 27:47, good for 29^th place, breaking the previous record of 28:10 held by Tim Jurkowski (Honesdale, PA/Honesdale) '15.

Following Lindley was Martin Tolbert (York, PA/William Penn), who ran a personal best and the fifth best time in school history at 28:24 for a 40^th place finish. Tyler Sutton (Wyalusing, PA/Wyalusing Valley) finished in 43^rd place at 28:37, the ninth best time in school history.

Harrison Ferro (Berwick, PA/Berwick) (61^st, 29:45), Nick Evangelista (Hellertown, PA/Saucony Valley) (65^th, personal best of 30:06), Mike McCleaf (Fairfield, PA/Delone Catholic) (74^th, 30:49), Greg Fry (Salisbury Twp., PA/Salisbury) (76^th, personal best of 31:00), Kendrick Schell (Northampton, PA/Northampton) (32:09), Forest Hawkins (Ashley, PA/Hanover) (32:29) and Jeremiah Bower (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) (personal best of 37:24) rounded out the Colonels competitors.

Wilkes returns to the track on Saturday, November 14^th for the NCAA Mid-East Regionals hosted by Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pa. with an 11 a.m. start time.
