Wilkes Men's Cross Country Finishes 11th at Dickinson Invitational

CARLISLE, PA – Jordan Lindley (Hunlock Creek, PA/Lake Lehman) ran the fourth fastest time in school history leading the Wilkes men's cross country team to an eleventh place finish at the Dickinson Short/Long Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Lindley crossed the line at 28:25 taking 49^th place, just a second after his personal-best set earlier this season at the Lebanon Valley Invitational. Martin Tolbert (York, PA/William Penn) finished with the fourteenth fastest time in the 8k in program history crossing the line at 28:56 for 60^th place. Tyler Sutton (Wyalusing, PA/Wyalusing Valley) came in at 29:28 for 70^th while Harrison Fero (29:34), Greg Fry (Salisbury Twp., PA/Salisbury) (31:33), Kendrick Schell (Northampton, PA/Northampton) (31:35), Mike McCleaf (Fairfield, PA/Delone Catholic) (31:39) and Nick Evangelista (Hellertown, PA/Saucony Valley) (31:51) rounded out the Colonel scorers in the 200-participant race.

Wilkes is off next week before competing in the DeSales Invitational on October 10^th at 10:30 a.m.
