Wilkes Women's Tennis Set for MAC Freedom Semifinals against King's
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's tennis team begins its quest for a 10
th straight Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom team title when it will host King's College at the Ralston Athletic Complex on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.
Wilkes and King's previously met on April 15
th with the Lady Colonels scoring a resounding 9-0 victory. The match results are as follows:

Wilkes enters the MAC Freedom tournament with an 18-2 overall record and a perfect 5-0 in conference play. The Lady Colonels are led by
Kendra Croker (Old Forge, PA/Scranton Prep), who is 14-3 from the No. 1 singles position.
Jordan Vasarkovy (Toms River, NJ/Toms River North) follows at 13-2 from the No. 2 spot and
Taylor Hoffmann (Huntingdon Valley, PA/Lower Moreland) is 8-2 in No. 3 singles.
In doubles play, Croker/Vasarkovy are 13-3 from the No. 1 spot,
Julia Baranov (Huntingdon Valley, PA/William Tennent)/Hoffmann are 9-2 from the No. 2 spot while
Olivia Hewison (Port Crane, NY/Chenango Valley)/
Madison Salmon (Endicott, NY/Union Endicott) are 11-0 from the No. 3 position.
King's enters the tournament with a 7-9 overall record, 2-3 in MAC Freedom play. The Lady Monarchs are led by Madeline Griffin, who is 13-1 from the No. 1 singles position. Julia Keppel is 5-7 from the No. 2 position, while Lauren DeReinzi is 7-3 from No. 3.
In doubles play, Grffin/Hannah Jenkins are 7-6 from the No. 1 position. DeReinzi/Maggie Walsh are 8-7 from the No. 2 position while Keppel/ Miranda Warunek are 3-5 from the No. 3 position.
The winner moves on to the MAC Freedom Championship, which will be held on Saturday at the highest remaining seed with the start time to be announced.
