Wilkes Men's Cross Country Takes Fifth at Dutchmen Invitational
LEBANON, PA – The Wilkes University men's cross country team finished in fifth place at the Dutchmen Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College Saturday morning.

Wilkes collected 123 points in the event with four under 30-place finishers.
Franco Balbuena (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) led all Colonel runners taking ninth place with a time of 28:13.39, good for fourth all-time in the 8k in school history.
Matthew Houser (Hazleton, PA/Hazleton) followed in 26
th place with a time of 30:23.54 while
Kevin Singhel (Athens, PA/Athens Area) crossed the line at 30:42.49 for 27
th place.
Nicholas Moullette (Pompton Lakes, NJ/Pompton Lakes) came in at 30:53.55 for 28
th place and
Alan Sebastianelli (Archbald, PA/Valley View) finished 33
rd with a time of 31:31.74.
Killian Sloan (Bridgeton, NJ/Cumberland Regional) and
Ryan Weber (West Haven, CT/West Haven) rounded out the Wilkes scorers with times of 32:06.76 and 32:07.95 respectivelly.
Misericordia took first place as a team with host Lebanon Valley claiming second.
Wilkes is idle next week before competing in the Messiah Invitational (8k) on September 24
th starting at 11:15 a.m.
