Wilkes Men's Cross Country Closes Season at NCAA Mideast Regional
NEWVILLE, Pa. – The Wilkes University men's cross country team finished 37
th out of 51 teams at the 2017 NCAA Mideast Regional hosted by Dickinson College at Big Spring High School Saturday morning.

There were 365 total participants in the 8k event where the Colonels scored 1,094 team points.
Sophomore
Franco Balbuena (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) now holds eight of the top nine times in school history after he finished in 27:33.5 for the sixth best time. He placed 126
th overall for the event.
Freshman
Noah Molina (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) ran a personal-best 28:02.3 to finish 163
rd which was the 11
th fastest time in the school record book. Sophomore
Kevin Singhel (Athens, PA/Athens Area) ran a season-best 29:58.6 to finish 270
th. Freshman
Kevin Long (Goshen, NY/Goshen) (274
th, 30:07.5) and sophomore
Alan Sebastianelli (Archbald, PA/Valley View) (284
th, 30:17.3) rounded out the scorers for Wilkes.
