DOYLESTOWN, Pa. –The Wilkes University men's cross country finished fourth out of 13 teams at the Aggies Open hosted by Delaware Valley University on Saturday morning, the Colonels best finish since coming in first out of seven teams at the 2015 Alvernia Invitational.

Sophomore Franco Balbuena (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Coughlin) led the way for Wilkes, finishing sixth overall with a time of 29:39.9. Freshman Noah Molina (Scranton, PA/West Scranton) (21^st, 30:56.2), sophomore Alan Sebastianelli (Archbald, PA/Valley View) (45^th, 32:36.6), sophomore Kevin Singhel (Athens, PA/Athens Area) (47^th, 32:49.2), freshman Kevin Long (Goshen, NY/Goshen) (48^th, 32:50.3), sophomore Ryan Weber (West Haven, CT/West Haven) (50^th, 33:21.8), and senior Kendrick Schell (Northampton, PA/Northampton) (52^nd, 33:34.0) all earned points for Wilkes.

Sophomore Jason Montemuro (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) (54^th, 33:44.1), sophomore Killian Sloan (Bridgeton, NJ/Cumberland Regional)e (78^th, 35:36.8), and freshman Colin Ahrensfield (Ashland, PA/North Schuylkill) (94^th, 37:23.9) rounded out the Colonel finishers.
Wilkes returns to action on Saturday when it heads to Dickinson for the Dickinson Long-Short Invitational.
