Wilkes Men's Cross Country Finishes 7th at LVC Last Chance Run Fast
LEBANON, PA – The Wilkes University men's cross country team finished 7
th of 8 teams at the LVC Last Chance Run Fast hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park.

Wilkes finished with 204 team points in the 8k race of 95 runners. Division II East Stroudsburg took home first place with 23 total team points while Gettysburg followed in second place with 65 points and Messiah third place with 71 team points.
Dylan Corriere (Easton, PA/Wilson Area) was the first Colonel finisher coming in at 29:47.2 for 60
th place.
Jason Montemuro (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) followed in 66
th place with a time of 30:37.4.
Kaleb Hanson Richart (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) took home 73
rd place crossing the line at 31:25.8 while
Brandon Whitman (Mountain Top, PA/Crestwood) (77
th/31:48.1),
Patrick Connors (Hanover Twp., PA/Hanover) (81
st/32:15) and
Colin Ahrensfield (Ashland, PA/North Schuylkill) (87
th/33:24.8) rounded out the Wilkes competitors in the event.
Wilkes will compete at the 2018 Middle Atlantic Conference Championships next Saturday hosted by Stevenson University. Men's race is set for 12:00 p.m.
