Wilkes Men's Tennis Falls 7-2 at TCNJ
EWING, N.J. – The Wilkes University men's tennis team dropped its third non-conference match of the season falling 7-2 to The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) on Thursday afternoon.
Wilkes slipped to 8-3 overall following the road defeat. TCNJ improved to 4-2 overall on the season.
Jonathan White (Saylorsburg, PA/Pleasant Valley) and
Courtney Murphy (Bronx, NY/Christopher Columbus) captured the lone Wilkes doubles win taking its No. 1 pairs match 8-4.
White then recorded the Colonels one singles win taking his No. 3 match 6-1, 3-6, 10-3.
Wilkes begins MAC Freedom play Wednesday with a road match at Delaware Valley University starting at 3:30 p.m.
