Wilkes Women's Basketball Set for MAC Crossover Challenge Versus LVC
WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University women's basketball team is set to host Lebanon Valley College in a Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Crossover Challenge postseason game Thursday at 7:00 p.m. inside the Marts Center to close out the season.

Wilkes enters the game with a 2-7 overall record and finished sixth in the MAC Freedom with a 1-6 league record. The Colonels defeated FDU-Florham 58-31 on Monday to close out the regular season.
Senior guard
Maddie Kelley (Dallas, PA/Dallas) leads Wilkes and ranks sixth in the MAC Freedom with 11.1 points-per-game (ppg). She also leads the team with 4.8 rebounds-per-game (rpg). Kelley also leads the conference in three-pointers made per-game (2.0) and is second with a .346 three-point shooting percentage. Sophomore guard
Brenna Babcock (Sweet Valley, PA/Northwest Area) is second on the team with 7.1 ppg. She has led Wilkes over the past two games with 23 total points. Fellow sophomore guard
Katelyn Kinczel (Highland Heights, OH/Mayfield) is third on the Colonels with 5.7 ppg. She is third in the conference with 1.6 three-pointers made per-game and a .326 three-point shooting percentage.
Senior forward
Gabby Smicherko (Edwardsville, PA/Wyoming Valley West) leads the team and ranks fifth in the MAC Freedom with 2.8 assists-per-game (apg). She is fourth on the team with 5.6 ppg. First-year center
Erin Shober (Reading, PA/Wilson) is second in the MAC Freedom with 1.7 blocks-per-game. Sophomore guard
Kendra Smith (Hughesville, PA/Hughesville) scored a season high eight points and added four rebounds, two steals, one assist, and one block in the Colonels win over FDU-Florham.
Wilkes is averaging 51.2 ppg on offense which ranks seventh in the MAC Freedom and the Colonels rank fifth allowing 58.3 ppg on defense.
Lebanon Valley enters with a 3-7 overall record and finished sixth in the MAC Commonwealth with a 3-7 record.
Senior forward Emily Mealey led the MAC Commonwealth with 16.6 ppg and was second with 12.0 rpg. Sophomore guard/forward Kennedy Kuffa is second on the team with 13.3 ppg (sixth) and 7.9 rpg (ninth). Sophomore guard/forward Daelyn Stabler is third on the Dutchmen with 9.8 ppg and ranks third in the conference with 2.5 steals-per-game.
LVC is sixth in the MAC Commonwealth with 50.3 ppg on offense and is tied for second allowing 58.2 ppg on defense.
The two teams will meet for the first time since January 6, 2010.
