ANNVILLE, PA – Wilkes University junior Nicole Fitzpatrick (New Hampton, NY/Minisink Valley) was named to the 2022 All-Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom (MAC Freedom) Women's Volleyball Team as announced by the conference this Tuesday morning.
 
Fitzpatrick earned her first career all-conference selection as a Second Team member.
 
The junior led the Colonels with 279 kills and 331 points as she had a .151 hitting percentage on the year. She was second on the team with digs (225), third in service aces (38), and fifth in assists (18) and blocks (26). Fitzpatrick was third in the MAC Freedom with kills and fifth in points.
 
Fitzpatrick was named the MAC Freedom Offensive Player of the Week twice this year. The first time she was given the honor was on October 10, while the second time was on October 24.
 
She recorded five double-doubles with kills and digs on the season, with three of those performances coming from the final four games of the season, which include 18 kills and 12 digs against St. Joseph's College (Long Island), 13 kills and 13 digs against Ramapo College, and 13 kills with 10 digs against Delaware Valley. One of her double-double performances, a 25 kill and 11 digs stat line against Lycoming College, was a career-high in kills for her.
