WILKES-BARRE – The Wilkes University athletic department has announced the 2025-26 schedule for the women's basketball team, continuing a series releasing the schedules of all of Wilkes' winter athletic programs.

The Colonels line up a 25-game slate under third-year head coach Al Berger, featuring 11 games hosted at the Marts Center.

The season tips off at home on Saturday, November 8 as the Colonels take on Penn State Berks, followed by a trip to Centenary (New Jersey) to face the Cyclones on Tuesday, Nov. 11. A home matchup against Saint Elizabeth University on Friday, Nov. 14 completes a trio of non-conference matchups, before opening Landmark Conference play at Lycoming College on Wednesday, Nov. 19. The two-game conference road trip continues on Saturday, Nov. 22 as the Colonels travel to face Moravian University.

A stop at cross-town rival King's College on Tuesday, Nov. 25 breaks up conference play, before returning home to the Marts Center to face Susquehanna University on Wednesday, December 3. The blue and gold then travel to the nation's capital to face Catholic University on Saturday, Dec. 6.

The Colonels then head to Puerto Rico for two games on Dec. 29-30 and kick off the new year at Eastern University on January 3 to close non-conference play. A matchup against Juniata College on Wednesday, Jan. 7 then kicks off a three-game homestand, followed by games against Elizabethtown College on Saturday, Jan. 10 and Drew University on Wednesday, January 14.

A brief trip to Goucher College on Saturday, Jan. 17 marks the last road game of the month for the Colonels, with four more home games following against the University of Scranton (Wednesday, Jan. 21), Moravian (Saturday, Jan. 24), Lycoming (Wednesday, Jan. 28), and Catholic (Saturday, Jan. 31).

Wilkes then takes to the road for five games, kicking off at Susquehanna on Wednesday, February 4. They then head to face Juniata on Saturday, Feb. 7, Drew on Wednesday, Feb. 11, Elizabethtown on Saturday, Feb. 14, and Scranton on Wednesday, Feb. 18, before finishing the season at home against Goucher on Saturday, Feb. 21.

Wilkes will continue to release its 2025-26 winter schedules with women's ice hockey on Wednesday.
