DALLAS - The Wilkes University men's cross country team competed in the Misericordia Invitational on Friday evening.

Sophomore Jack Thompson (Hatboro, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) finished the 4K race with the best time on the team with a time of 12:59.50, which was good enough to place 15th overall. Senior Caleb Edwards (Grahamsville, NY/Tri-Valley Central) also put up a strong time of 13:41.30 and placed 35th overall.

Lastly, Thomas Majkowski (White Haven, PA/Wyoming Seminary) made his collegiate debut and posted a time of 22:50.60, finishing 107th overall.

The Colonels will return to Misericordia on Sept. 13 for the Cougar Classic. The event begins at 11 a.m.
