Wilkes held a 56-55 lead in the waning moments before King's made a decisive 13-3 run to put the game away. Senior Elena Stambone (Jessup, PA/Valley View) continues to lead the Lady Colonels offensively averaging 16.4 points per-game. Chelsea Brown (Garnet Valley, PA/Garnet Valley), who has missed the past two games due to illness, is still averaging 11.3 points and a team-high 8.4 rebounds per-game. Cara Basile (Whitehall, PA/Whitehall) is averaging 8.9 points and 5.3 boards while Chelsea Smelas (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) is averaging 8.6 points and 5.6 boards per-game. As a team the Lady Colonels are averaging 62.7 points per-game, while giving up 66.8 points per-game. The Manhattanville women stand 10-8 overall and 1-6 in the Freedom after falling at home to No. 1 FDU-Florham 104-91 on Thursday. Alyson Caiazzo is coming off a triple-double against the Devils where she scored 16 points, grabbed 16 rebounds and dished out 12 assists. Caiazzo averages a team-high 16.8 points per-game while leading the league in rebounding with 15.2 boards per contest. Bri Pabon averages 16.2 points and leads the team with a total of 37 made three-pointers. Ashley Raff (11.9 ppg.) and Ashley Franklin (11.3 ppg.) add depth to the Valiants offensive attack. Manhattanville is averaging 69.8 points per-game while allowing opponents to score 64.7 points. Wilkes took the first matchup 68-67 back in early December at the Marts Center. The Wilkes men's team comes into the game riding a high after beating rival King's 59-54 on Wednesday. Wilkes stands 9-9 overall and 4-3 in the Freedom clinging onto the fourth and final playoff spot heading into the second half of the league slate. Alec Wizar (Lebanon, PA/Annville Cleona) is leading the Colonels offensively with 15.3 points per-game and is second with 52 made three's. Steve Stravinski (Pittston, PA/Pittston) leads the Freedom with 57 made three-pointers and is averaging 15.1 points per-game. Stravinski also leads Wilkes in rebounding with 6.7 boards per contest. Freshman Zachary Brunner (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg) is averaging 11.2 points per game and 5.8 rebounds a game during his rookie season. The Colonels are averaging 72.3 points on offense while allowing opponents to score 70.9 points per-game. The Manhattanville men's team owns a 6-12 overall mark and stand 2-5 in the Freedom Conference after posting an 83-64 win against FDU-Florham on Thursday. Juan Camacho is leading the team with an average of 16.3 points per-game and 5.1 boards. Camacho has made 20 three-pointers and is shooting 48.7 percent from the field. Anthony Maestre follows averaging 15.9 points per-game and 2.7 boards while leading the team with a total of 35 three-pointers. The Valiants are averaging 64.7 points on offense and allowing 70.6 points on defense. Wilkes defeated Manhattanville 68-63 earlier this season.
