LEBANON, PA – The Wilkes University men's cross country team finished in seventh place at the Last Chance Run Fast Invitational hosted by Lebanon Valley College at Union Canal Tunnel Park on Friday evening.
 
A total of 69 runners competed in the 8k race.

Alan Sebastianelli (Archbald, PA/Valley View) led Wilkes with a time of 29:47 for 29^th place. Ryan Weber (West Haven, CT/West Haven) followed in 33^rd place at 30:19. Brandon Ver-Non (Peckville, PA/Valley View) crossed the line at 32:02 for 48^th place while Jason Montemuro (Jim Thorpe, PA/Jim Thorpe) came in 59^th at 33:02.
 
Jeremiah Bower (Wilkes-Barre, PA/Meyers) (64^th/34:46) and Dhruv Patel (East Brunswick, NJ/Middlesex Academy) (69^th/40:30) rounded out the Colonel finishers in the event.
 
Both Wilkes cross country teams return to the course next Saturday competing in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships hosted by Messiah College in Grantham, Pa. starting at 12:00 p.m.
