Wilkes University Athletics

The 1972 men's golf team captured the MAC Championship with a team score of 628 (+52) in a Par 72, 36-hole tournament. The conference title marked the second MAC crown in the 1970's for Wilkes as the Colonels captured first place in 1971, 1972 and 1979.
 
The squad finished the season 7-3 in dual match play. Jerry Stankiewicz and Rich Berkheiser earned medalist honors at the MAC Championships.
