Became the sixth head football coach in the history of Wilkes athletics in 1990…was named the Middle Atlantic Coach of the Tear twice in 1993 and 1994…led the Colonels to a 10-0 regular season record in 1993 with a MAC Championship and a berth in the NCAA playoffs…during that year, he was named the Kodak AFCA Division III Region 2 Coach of the Year and the Jostens Division III Coach of the Year…went 9-2 in 1994 and won the ECAC Southeastern Championship by taking a 28-21 win over Stony Brook…native of Berwick, Pa. where he played football…was named the most valuable player of the annual Big 33 game in his senior year…earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education in 1966 and a Masters of Education in 1973 from Delta State in Mississippi…
