Offensive lineman for Wilkes football team from 1964-1967 under head coach Rollie Schmidt…played every game in career…led Colonels to 21 straight wins which began one of the longest winning streaks in NCAA history with 32 consecutive victories…in 1965, helped Wilkes win MAC title and make trip to Lambert Bowl in 1966…named to all-conference team in 1965 and 1967…received Coaches Black Star Award as sophomore, junior, and senior…as sophomore, was MAC All-Star and named honorable mention All-State…as junior, named Most Valuable Offensive Lineman…served as co-captain his senior year…named honorable mention All-State his senior year…received the Stegmaier Scholarship Award and Gallagher Award…enlisted in Army after graduation…fought in Vietnam War and received two purple hearts and three Bronze Stars…lost battle to cancer at the age of 59.
