    Men's Basketball
Part of the foundation of the Wilkes men’s basketball program, Reimel was the catalyst that made the engine go in the late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Staring in the backcourt with fellow Wilkes Hall of Famers Bo Ryan and Herb Kemp, Reimel led the Wilkes offense playing point guard for the up-tempo Colonel attack. Reimel remains the program’s all-time assist leader finishing with 628 assists, over a hundred more than the second Colonel on the list. He recorded a single season record 216 assists during the 1969-70 season while leading Wilkes to four straight winning seasons.
