Mock played four years for the Wilkes men's lacrosse team anchoring the net as a goalie on the Colonels backline. He compiled a 32-7-1 career record in net. Mock finished with a 10.7 saves per-game average as a first year in 1972. He was named Wilkes' Outstanding Defenseman" in 1973 averaging a career-best 15.5 saves per-game as a sophomore. As a junior, Mock finished 9-1 in goal while only allowing 5.8 goals per-game on way to being named All-MAC and All-ECAC. As a senior, Mock led the squad to eight straight wins and the 1975 MAC Championship serving as a co-captain.
