Long time supporter of Wilkes athletics…joined his son Joseph Wiendl, Jr. as the first father-son tandem to be inducted into the Wilkes University Hall of Fame…was very active in recruiting athletes to come to Wilkes…was a member of the Wilkes Board of Trustees…was member of Wilkes University Engineering Advisory Board.
