Member of football team for four years...played on undefeated BUJC team...starter on offense and defense...co-captain of 1947...started all but two games after suffering broken wrist...earned reputation of being Colonels finest tackle...named Lineman of the Year in 1949 when he performed with the "Seven Blocks of Anthracite"...the 1949 team led eastern colleges in scoring with 293 points in nine games (32.5 per game)...in 1969 named as one of Wilkes' football All-Time Greats at tackle.
