Four year starter in three sports...11 time letterwinner...co-captain of 1953 football team, the 1953-54 basketball team, and 1954 baseball team...named Wilkes Athlete of the Year in 1952...named to "1950's Wilkes Dream Team" in 1962...known as "Mr. Versatility" on gridiron...played quarterback, fullback, saftey, punter, kicker, punt and kick returner...averaged in double figures all four year in basketball...hit .342 for career in baseball...spent eight years as head coach of Wilkes men's basketball team, leading the team to the playoffs for the first time in school history in 1957-58.
