Served on several athletic committees at Wilkes…served as school’s Director of Sports Publicity and was founder of Wilkes golf club…coached golf team for 12 seasons, fashioning a 55-48-1 record…came to Wilkes as economics instructor…retired in 1988 but earned professor emeritus status…honored several times for his more than 50 years of service to Wilkes.
